# EggAPI

> EggAPI is an AI model aggregation API. One API key and one REST endpoint, `POST https://api.eggapi.ai/v1/generate`, run image models (Seedream, Nano Banana, GPT Image 2) and video models (Seedance, Wan). Every task is asynchronous: create it, then poll `GET https://api.eggapi.ai/v1/tasks/{id}` or receive a webhook. AI agents can connect over MCP at `https://api.eggapi.ai/mcp`.

- Base URL: `https://api.eggapi.ai`
- Auth: `Authorization: Bearer <EGGAPI_API_KEY>`, keys are created at https://eggapi.ai/dashboard
- Responses use the envelope `{ "data": ..., "error": null }` or `{ "data": null, "error": { "code", "message" } }`
- Video requests need `duration` in seconds; edit and image-to-video models need `image_urls`
